One Madison Group
After more than a decade of continuous evolution and strong performance, we are pleased to announce that the investment and operations teams from JS Capital Management, LLC (“JS Capital”) have joined the firm One Madison Group. JS Capital CIO Salil Seshadri and CEO Jonathan Soros will join Omar Asali as Co-Founders and Partners of One Madison Group. The move formalizes a deep and long-standing partnership between our two firms.
Omar formed One Madison Group in 2016 with support from JS Capital to pursue investments in which his talents as an experienced CEO and business builder could be combined with long-duration, patient capital. JS Capital has supported all One Madison Group investments to date and is the largest investor in One Madison Group’s cornerstone investment Ranpak Holdings Corp., of which Omar is Chairman and CEO. Ranpak is a leader in environmentally sustainable packaging and end-of-line logistics innovation.
Since 2012, Salil and Jonathan have built out the JS Capital investment platform as a global, multi-strategy family office that combines direct public and private market investments with sustained third-party investment manager partnerships.
The addition of the JS Capital team to One Madison Group brings together our investment capacities with a continued focus on long-term value creation for the benefit of an existing and growing roster of private clients with aligned interests. Our combined firm employs a team of 23 people.
One Madison Group will also be forming an advisory board that will be comprised of highly accomplished investors who have shared long-standing and collaborative relationships with the One Madison Group partners. The Advisory Board will further enhance the investment capabilities of One Madison Group through offering management advice and thoughts on opportunities.
